Role Overview
Join BDO UAE's Natural Resources and Energy Risk Advisory practice as an Assistant Manager.
Deliver risk advisory, internal audit, governance, and operational excellence solutions to energy, utilities, mining, and industrial organizations.
Support client operations and risk management transformation through emerging technologies and sector expertise.
Client Delivery and Advisory
- Lead internal audit, risk assessment, internal controls, and advisory engagements across the Natural Resources and Energy sector.
- Evaluate governance, risk management, and control frameworks to identify operational improvements and mitigation opportunities.
- Review exploration, drilling, production, refining, petrochemical, power, utility, mining, infrastructure, logistics, and energy services operations.
- Assess operational efficiency, compliance, asset integrity, project governance, maintenance reliability, and performance management.
- Prepare risk assessments, audit programs, planning memoranda, executive reports, and management presentations.
- Manage engagement timelines, budgets, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
