Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager Sales Marketing role based in Ahmedabad.

The Assistant Manager Sales Marketing will support end-to-end sales and marketing activities for Rasaam exhibitions, including lead generation, exhibitor acquisition, and relationship management with designers, brands, and vendors.

The role involves planning and executing marketing campaigns, coordinating promotional activities across digital and offline channels, and tracking campaign performance.

Day-to-day tasks include meeting prospective clients, presenting participation opportunities, negotiating packages, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

The role also requires collaborating with cross-functional teams on event planning, stall allocation, and visitor engagement initiatives, as well as preparing sales reports and market insights for management.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Operations and Customer Service skills to manage exhibitor relationships, handle inquiries, close sales, and ensure a positive experience before, during, and after exhibitions.
  • Solid Analytical Skills and Business Planning capabilities to forecast sales, analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to exhibition strategy and revenue planning.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to present proposals, negotiate with clients, coordinate with internal teams, and represent the brand professionally.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in exhibitions, events, fashion, lifestyle, or related industries.
  • Proficiency with basic CRM tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software to maintain pipelines, track performance, and report key metrics.
  • Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in sales and marketing.
