Role Overview

The Assistant Manager Sales role is based in Calicut and involves travel across key target markets as required.
The position focuses on B2B growth and key account management for premium agricultural and food products.
Experience and Preferences
- The role requires 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales or key account management.
- Preferred sectors include specialty coffee, gourmet foods, fresh produce, agribusiness, hospitality B2B, and luxury FMCG.
- Experience with perishable goods or cold-chain logistics is a strong plus.
- Candidates should have strong negotiation, communication, and CRM pipeline management skills.
- An entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset and passion for premium agricultural products are expected.
Responsibilities
- Acquire high-value clients across premium retail, hospitality, specialty cafes, and gourmet food sectors.
- Build partnerships, manage accounts, conduct tastings and presentations, and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Align harvest forecasts with customer demand by working with production and cold-chain logistics teams.
- Support farm-to-customer delivery and market expansion while communicating traceability, origin, and sustainability.
