About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist in development and management of DSF event plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and timelines
- Support creation of event budgets and implement financial management controls
- Coordinate with team members to integrate DSF events into DFRE calendar
- Classify DSF events based on scope, attendance, audience profiles, etc.
- Prepare and distribute communications to Event Marketing team
- Contribute to creation of project one pagers defining budgets, objectives, and content
- Collaborate with procurement on RFPs/RFIs, supplier selection, and contract management
- Manage on ground event/project delivery with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and government authorities
- Serve as primary point of contact for DSF stakeholders
- Identify and implement innovative solutions and trends in event management
- Ensure DSF compliance with DET policies, regulations, and legal requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in event management, focusing on retail and large scale public events
- Proven track record of successful management and execution of large scale festivals or retail events
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation
- Strong experience in stakeholder management
- Experience drafting and managing RFPs/RFIs and overseeing contract processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

Job Objective

Key Accountabilities
- Assist in development and management of DSF event plans

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
- Professional certifications like PMP are advantageous
- Minimum 4 years experience in event management with retail and large scale public events
- Proven track record managing large scale festivals or retail events
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Experience drafting RFPs/RFIs and managing contracts
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Experience with compliance and safety protocols
