Assistant Manager - Projects - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities Project Execution
• Execute electrical project activities in Thermal Power Plant projects.
• Monitor installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, technical specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contractors, consultants, and site teams.
• Track project progress and resolve technical issues during execution.
• Electrical Systems Management
• Oversee installation and commissioning of: Generators Transformers Switchgear (HT/LT) GIS/AIS Switchyards Bus Ducts Motors and MCCs UPS, Battery Systems & Chargers Electrical Protection Systems Plant Lighting Systems Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems
• Generators
• Transformers
• Switchgear (HT/LT)

• Review and execute testing procedures and commissioning plans.
• Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with OEMs and consultants during equipment testing.
• Ensure successful synchronization and system integration activities.
• Contract & Vendor Management
• Manage EPC contractors and subcontractors.
• Review contractor bills and certify work completion.
• Monitor contract compliance, progress, and performance.
• Coordinate with vendors for technical discussions and issue resolution.
• Planning & Documentation
• Prepare project schedules and progress reports.
• Review engineering drawings and technical documents.
