Role Overview
The Assistant Manager leads production planning and scheduling for Collins Aerospace operations in Bengaluru.
The position supports manufacturing productivity, quality, efficiency, supply-chain coordination, and delivery performance.
Workplace
- The position role type is onsite at the Bengaluru Hitech Defence and Aerospace Park location.
Production Planning and Control
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand, order priorities, capacity, and material availability.
- Monitor plan-versus-actual performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyse machine, manpower, and process capacity, identify bottlenecks, and optimize production loading.
- Drive schedule adherence and on-time delivery by prioritizing critical orders and managing production risks.
Materials, ERP, and Inventory
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, and Supply Chain to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and consumables.
- Maintain accurate production plans, MRP, work orders, bills of materials, inventory data, and planning parameters in SAP or ERP systems.
