Serve as the Process Engineer for the site. Specific Technical responsibilities include: Responsible for interfacing technical vendors and the upkeep of P&IDs, technical documentation (equipment datasheet, PRV sizing, PHA, Hazop studies) in the documentation management system. Responsible for evaluating new equipment designs and verifying design engineering calculations. Participate in PSM, PHA, Pre- startup Safety review, Management of change and other technical studies for site operations. Responsible for NPI (New product introduction) and technology transfer to the site. Responsible for new laboratory trials at site. Responsible for DCS recipe and troubleshooting. Serves as an advisor to the line manager (Process Technology) on technical matters related to plant operations and chemistry. Serves as an advocate for use of Management of change for all processes, facility and personnel changes. Serves as a member for all safety improvement plans/ideas to raise safety engagement. Leads investigation on quality related issues and recommends permanent corrective/preventive measures to prevent reoccurrences. Run process simulations, check product standards, and use tools like Six Sigma or Lean. Track operational statistics (PI, SEEQ) and build performance dashboards to guide continuous improvements Evaluating complex metrics to find system bottlenecks. Serves as a dedicated person for the identification of process improvement, Batch cycle time improvement, process debottlenecks for the continual improvement by close monitoring of day-to-day DCS data.

Min 5 -8 years of technical experience in the, EPCM, petrochemical or refinery industry. DCS control system knowledge, Flammable chemicals handling, AutoCAD, Six Sigma, ISO standards. etc.
Degree in Chemical Engineering
