Position Title: Asst. Manager Processes Engineering Department: Technology Location: Waluj, Chh. Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra Reporting To: Manager - Industrial Engineering Purpose of the Position: The position for Processes Engineering drives the development, optimization, and implementation of advanced industrial processes like Polyurethane lining, Hard Rubber lining, Natural Rubber lining, PTFE lining and Polyurethane (PU) foaming processes, Zinc coating process, Blasting process, Washing process, Painting Process, Bonding process and Silicon lining process. This role ensures manufacturing systems meet strict quality compliance, first pass yield, cycle time, and reducing operational waste with cost targets while leading continuous improvement and new process introduction. Role requirement summary: Requirement Standard Qualifications Technical Competencies Polyurethane Chemistry: Deep knowledge of different chemicals and catalyst, used in different processes Dispensing Systems: Expertise in high/low-pressure mixing heads, painting and silicon lining machines Lining Technologies: Strong knowledge of PU, HR, NR, PTFE lining to Stainless steel material Knowledge of coating robot handling & programming Handle different chemicals material data sheets (MSDS) Knowledge & skills of different approvals like NSF, KTW, WRAS, ACS, etc. Chemical Process Development & control Design and optimise process parameters Optimize chemical mixing ratios & processes Reduce cycle times and material scrap through Lean manufacturing Troubleshoot daily process deviations Analyse production data to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness New Process Introduction (NPI) Collaborate with Technology department to set new process for production Develop tooling, fixtures, required for new process Conduct trial runs, process capability studies and validations Prepared by: Shashikant Mendhe Date: 05.07.2026 2/2 Establish standard operating procedures (WI) for new process Quality & Compliance Own Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) updates regularly. Identify the Root-cause quality defects in processes Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations Manage chemical handling, emissions tracking, and waste disposal protocols Support internal and external audits and certification processes Engineering change implementation Implement quality management standards ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO18001 & ISO50001 Equipment & Technology Management Define technical specifications for Process machinery Lead installation, commissioning, and qualification of machines Evaluate automated solutions and next-generation chemical dosing systems Improve the Productivity of Process equipments Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchase teams Provide technical support for production issues related to process Support maintenance to optimize preventive schedules of the equipments Support to supply chain management to select the right material Evaluate and approve suppliers for process capability and compliance Contribute to TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives Troubleshoot daily process deviations Engineering, software & Analytical Tools Problem Solving: Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 7 QC tools, theme-based projects. CAD Software: Ability to review and modify tooling designs in AutoCAD Knowledge of SAP and documentation systems Data Analysis: Proficiency in Minitab for statistical process control (SPC) Education Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering Experience 15–18 years’ experience in Process engineering of related processes Behavioural Competencies Leadership and team management capability Effective communication and cross-functional coordination Continuous improvement mindset
