Responsibilities
Mold Design and Fabrication
Lead the design and fabrication of main molds for wind turbine blades, utilizing CAD software and advanced molding techniques to ensure precise geometry and structural integrity.
Oversee the creation of detailed mold specifications, including core material configurations and mold surface treatments.
Mold Maintenance and Calibration
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for molds, including periodic inspections, cleaning, and repairs to maintain mold accuracy and performance.
Calibrate molds and related equipment to ensure consistent dimensional accuracy and optimal production results.
Process Integration and Optimization
Ensure seamless integration of molds into the blade production process, coordinating with pre-fabrication and post-mold teams to achieve efficient workflows.
Optimize mold processes, including alignment and resin flow, to enhance production efficiency and blade quality.
Quality Control and Assurance
Conduct thorough inspections of molds and finished blades, using tools such as CMM and laser scanners to verify compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Address and resolve any quality issues related to mold performance, implementing corrective measures to prevent defects.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
