Role overview
Bank of America’s Global Business Services organization is expanding its Strategies, Analytics and Process Integration team in India.
The team focuses on improved fraud detection and loss reduction.
The role is an experienced analytical position focused on identifying and stopping fraud using data from multiple sources.
Responsibilities
- Develop fraud strategies using statistical and analytical techniques, including decision trees, random forests, and other quantitative methods.
- Identify internal and vendor-provided data sources to enrich fraud detection and decision systems.
- Coordinate with Fraud Technology partners on new data and detection strategies.
- Optimize detection strategies to reduce false positives and improve return on investment and performance.
- Develop ad hoc and standardized MIS reporting.
- Work across credit card, debit card, deposit, check, reporting, account takeover, and digital products.
Required experience and capabilities
- 2–5 years of relevant experience using SAS and SQL for data analytics.
- Advanced to expert-level capability in SAS and SQL.
- Strong analytics experience and the ability to build or deploy analytical solutions.
