Role Overview
The Assistant Manager - Manufacturing Engineering reports to the Senior Manager - Manufacturing Engineering.
The role is based in Sri City, Tada, Andhra Pradesh, near Chennai.
Experience and Qualifications
- A BE or B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- The role requires 10 to 12 years of experience in cryogenic, pressure vessel, oil and gas, boilers, capital goods manufacturing, or fabrication industries.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.
- Experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, and people management is required.
Responsibilities
- Support Production in achieving targets and improve operational efficiency.
- Optimize, standardize, and deploy lean principles, kaizen, Kanban, and continuous improvement practices.
- Develop an annual operational excellence plan for process control, cost reduction, and execution.
