Position Summary
Manage end-to-end documentation and coordination for export, import, High Seas Sale, and Merchant Trade transactions.
Ensure timely shipment execution, regulatory compliance, stakeholder coordination, and accurate shipping and regulatory records.
Export Operations
- Prepare and issue sales contracts, shipment schedules, and export documentation according to customer requirements and regulations.
- Coordinate customer order confirmations, shipping markings, documentation approvals, and shipment-related requirements.
- Monitor shipments and dispatch original shipping documents according to agreed payment terms.
- Follow up on customer payments and assist with marine insurance claims where applicable.
- Administer EPCG, Advance Authorization, DFIA, and RODTEP schemes and ensure timely regulatory applications.
- Confirm advance payments before shipment, report credit-term customers to the credit insurer, and obtain marine insurance for CIF shipments.
Import Operations
- Prepare purchase contracts and issue shipping instructions to suppliers according to purchase terms.
- Coordinate suppliers, Customs House Agents, freight forwarders, and transporters for customs clearance and delivery.
- Monitor shipments, verify documentation, coordinate supplier payments, and maintain Bill of Entry records.
- Process import claims and verify Customs House Agent invoices before Finance and Accounts submission.
- Notify suppliers shipping on CNF terms so appropriate marine insurance coverage can be arranged.
High Seas Sale and Merchant Trade
- Prepare and execute High Seas Sale and Merchant Trade contracts in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate suppliers, customers, shipping lines, and logistics partners for transaction execution.
- Monitor shipments, facilitate documentation flow, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Follow up on customer and supplier payments and maintain transaction records.
- Update and close Bank Bill of Entry records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Experience
- Minimum nine years of experience in the same export and import documentation profile.
- The role requires team leadership experience.
Compliance and Documentation
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely logistics and shipping documentation.
- Maintain compliance with export-import regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
- Maintain organized shipping, commercial, banking, and statutory records for audit and regulatory purposes.
Pay
- Pay is ₹40,000 to ₹50,000 per month.

- Work location is in person.
