About the Role

Yellow Door Energy is seeking an Assistant Manager, Financial Modelling to join its Finance team in Dubai.

The role supports renewable energy projects, financing activities, and strategic decisions through financial modelling and analysis.

The position reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Modelling and works across project, portfolio, and transaction models.

What You Will Deliver and Own

  • Develop, maintain, and review complex financial models for renewable energy projects and transactions.
  • Model cash flows, capital structures, debt and equity terms, tax assumptions, IRR, NPV, and DSCR.
  • Run sensitivities, downside cases, and scenario analyses for investment and financing decisions.
  • Support consolidated, portfolio, and TopCo model updates and reconciliations.
  • Provide modelling support for project finance, corporate finance, and acquisition activity.
  • Work with Finance, Business Development, Technical, Commercial, and Legal teams to validate model inputs.
  • Present model outputs, risks, and insights clearly to internal stakeholders.
  • Improve modelling templates, controls, and automation, including VBA where appropriate.

What You Must Bring

  • Bachelor's degree with strong finance and accounting exposure; a master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on financial modelling experience in project finance, corporate finance, infrastructure, energy, banking, or advisory.
  • Strong Excel-based modelling skills covering cash flow forecasting, valuation, sensitivities, and scenario analysis.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify modelling inconsistencies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Strong Advantage

  • Renewable energy or infrastructure experience.
  • Exposure to the Middle East, Africa, or South Asia.
  • Practical VBA coding experience.
  • Experience supporting project finance, M&A, lender analysis, or investment committee processes.
  • Experience with consolidated, portfolio, or TopCo models.
  • Arabic language capability.
