Assistant Manager Facility - Technical

Budget, Safety, and Compliance

• Prepare annual maintenance and utility budgets and monitor operational expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, manage energy initiatives, and control engineering spares and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and safety regulations and conduct risk assessments and safety inspections.
• Implement emergency response and business continuity procedures and renew licenses, permits, and certifications.

Tenants and Reporting

• Address technical concerns from tenants and occupants and coordinate fit-out activities and technical approvals.
• Maintain tenant satisfaction through prompt service delivery.
• Prepare monthly technical and operational reports and monitor equipment performance and utility consumption trends.
• Execute purchase orders and purchase requisitions for technical subjects.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Knowledge of NFPA, HVAC standards, electrical safety regulations, and building maintenance practices is required.
• The role requires 8–15 years of experience in commercial real estate, facility management, IT parks, corporate offices, malls, or mixed-use developments.
• At least five to six years of managerial experience handling technical operations is required.
• Professional certification in Facility Management is preferred.

Key Skills

• Required capabilities include facility management, commercial building operations, HVAC management, electrical and mechanical maintenance, fire and life safety, and BMS.
• The role requires vendor management, budgeting and cost control, energy management, regulatory compliance, project management, team leadership, and stakeholder management.
