The role is based at Hyatt Centric Whitefield Bangalore.
Summary
Supervise repair, maintenance, and engineering operations according to departmental standards.
The role supports hotel facilities, guest areas, public areas, service areas, and operational engineering systems.
Engineering Operations
- Handle and maintain power tools and assist other tradespersons or technicians when requested.
- Review utility and equipment logs and take corrective action with the Chief Engineer.
- Maintain inventories of engineering stores and essential parts.
- Monitor fuel consumption and stock levels.
- Review team leader briefings and debriefings and provide guidance.
- Create monthly training plans with the training manager.
- Modify installations to reduce material waste and support future maintenance access.
Maintenance and Safety
- Maintain clean work areas and protect the surroundings while performing duties.
- Repair and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and service areas.
- Inspect the building for defective or deficient life safety features and assess operating equipment.
