Assistant Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Uniqus is seeking looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Manager with a Financial Services background to join our ARC team. The role involves delivering high-impact advisory services to clients in the banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech sectors, with a focus on complex IFRS matters, regulatory reporting, and transaction accounting.
• This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile FS clients and complex financial reporting engagements in a fast-paced and dynamic market.

Responsibilities

• · Support and manage ARC projects for FS clients, including:
• · IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 17 implementations and advisory
• · Financial instruments accounting (valuation, classification, impairment)
• · Preparation and review of financial statements under IFRS
• · Finance transformation and process optimization
• · Conduct technical accounting research and prepare client deliverables, including technical memos and position papers.
• · Work closely with FS clients to assess their accounting and financial reporting processes and provide tailored solutions.
• · Support Managers and Partners in project planning, execution, and client management.
• · Supervise and coach junior team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• · Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• · Assist in business development efforts, proposals, and client presentations.
