Role overview

Audit responsibilities

• Understand entity statistics, industry matters, prior-year financial statements, and audit documentation before engagement.
• Coordinate management, experts, and specialists on deliverables and deadlines.
• Track findings and follow up on work performed by engagement team members.
• Apply audit guidance and professional skepticism in procedures, evidence, and conclusions.
• Sign off work and complete required checklists, procedures, and concluding questions.
• Contribute to project planning and identify priorities for earlier completion.
• Prepare and review documentation with facts, analysis, authoritative literature, and professional judgments.
• Promote professional skepticism and verify team sign-offs and technical knowledge.

Risk and AI responsibilities

• Document objectivity, independence, and continuance decisions and ensure required inquiries are captured.
• Apply AI use cases, prompt engineering fundamentals, and structured problem-solving in audit.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness before using them in workpapers.
• Follow responsible AI expectations covering governance, risk, confidentiality, data integrity, and approved tools.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of auditing experience with leading professional services firms or large multinational organizations.
• Insurance background.
• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Successful record of engagement management.
• Fluent English in reading, speaking, and writing.
• CPA, SOCPA, or equivalent qualification.
• Arabic is a plus.
