Role Description

The Assistant Manager Administration is a full-time, on-site role based in Qatar.

The role supports the daily operation of Applab's office and administrative functions.

The position coordinates office services, facilities, supplies, documentation, records, and internal communication.

The role supports policy implementation, administrative compliance, schedules, vendors, budgeting, and expense tracking.

The position collaborates with management and cross-functional teams on HR processes, onboarding, meetings, events, and internal initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative and office management skills, including facilities, supplies, and vendor relationships.
  • Competence in documentation, record keeping, basic data management, and standard productivity tools.
  • Effective organization and time management for multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company procedures.
  • Administrative experience in technology, consulting, or service organizations is advantageous.
  • A related bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Budgeting, expense tracking, and vendor negotiation familiarity is a plus.
  • A proactive problem-solving approach and willingness to improve administrative workflows are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office services, facilities, supplies, and vendor relationships.
  • Help maintain a safe, well-organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Manage documentation, records, and internal administrative communication.
  • Support implementation of policies and compliance with organizational procedures.
  • Plan and oversee administrative schedules.
  • Assist with vendor and service provider management.
  • Support basic budgeting and expense tracking for administrative activities.
  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams on administrative operations.
  • Support HR-related processes, onboarding logistics, meetings, events, and internal initiatives.
