Position Objective
Support the Business Head and Senior Finance Manager in annual business planning and budgeting for the brand.
Ensure budget targets are realistic, appropriately challenging, and aligned with actual business potential.
Monitor performance, report achievements, highlight variances, and recommend preventive or corrective actions.
Provide decision-support analysis for new stores, brands, countries, refurbishments, closures, and exit options.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management information for stakeholders.
- Analyze profit and loss results and present them to management.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new and current stores to assess profitability.
- Prepare and present business plans and budgets for the food and beverage division.
- Manage import payments associated with purchasing.
- Track profitability of new-age stores.
- Present profit and loss statements to principals and act as a point of contact for business affairs.
- Perform break-even analysis for loss-making stores.
- Track and authorize expenses related to trade licenses and rent.
- Analyze stock reports and authorize movement of smallware and equipment in warehouses.
- Prepare ad hoc reports based on customized business requirements.
Requirements
- Capability to support annual business planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to prepare financial statements, management information, and customized financial reports.
- Ability to analyze profitability, variances, and break-even positions for stores and business initiatives.
