The Assistant Leading Hand is responsible for assisting their shift Leading Hand to oversee all activities and persons within the production hall. Directly reporting to their shift Leading Hand, working closely with and accountable to the site Quality Officer.
Previous machine operation experience (Blow moulding experience preferred though not essential)
Mechanical aptitude
Capable of troubleshooting and resolving problems at the root cause and the ability to make minor machine adjustments to address efficiency and product non-conformances with the use of small hand tools
Strong focus on safety and able to apply methodologies to improve processes
A commitment to quality
Results driven
Good written & verbal communication skills
Solid understanding of HACCP & GMP
