Job Description
The Assistant IT Manager reports to the Director of Finance and leads daily IT operations within a hotel environment.
The role supports technical service continuity, system uptime, brand compliance, and a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily IT department operations and coordinate with the Regional IT Team on brand compliance and system updates.
- Provide technical support, handle escalated issues from team members and guests, and resolve incidents promptly.
- Perform infrastructure and network checks, preventive maintenance, and hands-on troubleshooting of hospitality software.
- Maintain records and inventory for hardware, software licenses, manuals, and other IT assets for compliance and audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is considered.
- Two to three years of hospitality IT experience with hands-on exposure to OPERA Cloud, MICROS Simphony Cloud, Aruba networking, and PBX systems.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate proactive problem-solving.
- Service-oriented collaboration skills and the ability to work independently while supporting the IT Coordinator.
