Assistant IT Manager

Job Description

Department Leadership

• Lead and manage daily IT department operations.
• Ensure technical support and system uptime across hotel operations.
• Work with the Regional IT Team on brand compliance and system updates.

Incident and Guest Support

• Act as the primary escalation point for technical and operational issues reported by team members and guests.
• Resolve issues promptly to protect the guest experience.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Perform regular checks and preventive maintenance across IT infrastructure and network systems.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting for infrastructure, networks, and hospitality software.

Asset and Compliance Tracking

• Maintain accurate records and inventory of hardware, software licenses, manuals, and IT assets.
• Support compliance and audit readiness through thorough asset tracking.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required, with equivalent practical experience also considered.
• Two to three years of hospitality IT experience.
• Hands-on exposure to OPERA Cloud PMS, MICROS Simphony Cloud POS, Aruba networking, and PBX systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Service-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently while supporting the IT Coordinator.
