Assistant HR Manager - Head Office

• Post-secondary degree in Human Resources Management.
• Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership/management experience.
• Good understanding of employment laws and practices.
• Good understanding of information security, privacy, and compliance concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; tactful, articulate, and high use of discretion.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with groups.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Service-oriented, with the ability to build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Resourceful and process-oriented with good business acumen.
• Ability to act quickly and decisively without compromising quality.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage work-related stress.
• Highly flexible and adaptable in a changing work environment.
• Positive attitude and strong team orientation.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

• Working towards CHRP designation.
• Knowledge and experience with union and labour relations.
• Retail and automotive industry experience.
