Overview
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented **Assistant HR Manager** to support our growing school catering operations across the UAE.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and understands the importance of supporting a diverse workforce.
You’ll work closely with the HR Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations while helping create a positive and compliant workplace for all employees.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support day-to-day HR activities across multiple school catering sites
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff inductions in line with UAE labour requirements
- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and provide practical HR guidance
- Support employee relations matters, including attendance, performance, and disciplinary processes
- Ensure all employee records are up to date and compliant with UAE Labour Law and MOHRE requirements
- Coordinate visa, onboarding documentation, and employee file management
- Work closely with Area managers to support staff engagement and retention
- Assist in coordinating training and development initiatives
- Support payroll processes, including timesheets, leave tracking, and support Area Managers in assigning staff schedules
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in UAE
- Good working knowledge of **UAE Labour Law**, visa processes, Safer Recruitment and HR compliance
- Experience in catering, hospitality, F&B, or multi-site operations is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a multicultural workforce
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional, approachable, and able to handle sensitive matters confidentially
- CIPD qualification (or working towards it) is an advantage
- Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
