Role Overview
The hotel is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager in Dubai to support the Executive Housekeeper.
The role focuses on housekeeping operations, cleanliness standards, staff supervision, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily housekeeping operations and maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across the property.
- Develop cleaning procedures and schedules with the Executive Housekeeper.
- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments on guest requests and issues.
- Assist with staff schedules and housekeeping payroll.
- Maintain health and safety protocols and support continuous improvement.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven housekeeping management or supervision experience is required.
- Luxury hotel experience is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organization, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail are required.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office is required.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, equipment, hotel operations, and hospitality standards is required.
Additional Requirements
- Familiarity with hospitality health and safety regulations is required.
- The role requires flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina is required for duties performed throughout the day.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
- A customer-focused mindset and ability to make decisions under pressure are required.
