Oversee assigned food and beverage or culinary operations.
Maintain guest and employee satisfaction, service standards, and financial performance.
Education and experience
- High school diploma or GED plus three years of relevant food and beverage, culinary, or related experience.
- Alternatively, a two-year degree in a relevant field plus one year of relevant professional experience.
Food and beverage operations
- Create a property environment emphasizing motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and service.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and respond proactively to their concerns.
- Use coaching skills throughout the property.
- Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Motivate staff to resolve guest and employee concerns.
Customer service
- Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly to guest concerns.
- Understand the brand service culture and set expectations for internal and external guests.
- Own guest complaints until resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager or employee.
- Follow up to confirm guest satisfaction.
- Build guest relationships to encourage repeat clientele.
Additional responsibilities
- Comply with all corporate accounting procedures.
- Assist the General Manager with the annual quality audit.
