Role Description
Learners Education is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Dubai.
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organisation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with business objectives.
The role requires strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, tax frameworks, and international accounting standards, along with proven leadership in managing finance teams and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
- Monitor and manage cash flow and funding requirements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
- Implement strong internal controls and efficient financial processes.
- Supervise and mentor the finance & accounts team, ensuring high standards of performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of finance management experience, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record in financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting softwares like Zoho and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Salary Range: upto AED 8500 per month.
