Assistant Finance Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer invoicing, receivables monitoring, and collection efforts to minimize aged receivables.
• Review, verify, record, and settle supplier invoices according to approved payment terms.
• Process monthly payroll, validate payroll inputs, coordinate approvals, and ensure timely salary disbursements.
• Record accruals, intercompany transactions, and other accounting entries in the ERP system with accessible supporting documentation.
• Execute approved payments, monitor bank receipts, and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly balance sheet schedules and revenue or debtor reconciliations against the accounting ERP.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities within prescribed timelines.
• Prepare and submit GST and SST returns and maintain statutory compliance.
• Assist with interim and year-end audits and process improvement initiatives to strengthen controls and efficiency.
