Assistant F&B Operations Manager responsible for assigned food and beverage or culinary operations.
Full-time management position in St. Regis Hotels & Resorts' Food and Beverage & Culinary department.
The position is not remote and is located in West Bay, Doha, Qatar.
Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or GED plus three years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a two-year degree in a relevant hospitality, business, or food service major plus one year of relevant experience.
- Five-star luxury hospitality background.
- Knowledge of LQA and Forbes standards.
Food and Beverage Operations
- Oversee guest and employee satisfaction, maintain standards, and meet or exceed financial goals.
- Create and nurture an environment emphasizing motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and service.
- Provide excellent service to employees and respond quickly and proactively to employee concerns.
- Use coaching skills throughout the property and motivate staff to resolve guest and employee concerns.
Guest Service
- Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
- Understand the brand's service culture and set service expectations for internal and external guests.
- Take ownership of complaints until resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager or employee.
- Follow up to ensure complaints are addressed to the guest's satisfaction.
- Develop guest relationships to build repeat clientele.
Additional Responsibilities
- Comply with all corporate accounting procedures.
- Assist the general manager with the annual quality audit as needed.
