Position Summary
Coordinate banquet event execution, staff teamwork, guest service, and room readiness.
Respond to special banquet arrangements and maintain service quality and company standards.
Event and Team Responsibilities
- Inspect staff grooming and attire and correct deficiencies.
- Set up banquet areas, furniture, equipment, and table settings.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Document pertinent information in the department logbook.
Guest Service and Compliance
- Communicate with guests, employees, and departments to meet guest needs.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide appreciation.
- Follow safety and security policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete required training.
- Maintain confidentiality, professional appearance, quality standards, and company asset protection.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience preferred.
