Role Overview
Lead and develop direct and indirect engineering/asset teams, driving performance, engagement and capability.
Support the management of workshops, tools, spare parts and maintenance resources.
Drive asset reliability and availability through effective preventive and predictive maintenance.
Use EAMS/Maximo to manage maintenance, inventory and procurement activities.
Work closely with Reliability, Operations, Projects and HSE teams to identify issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
Ensure engineering activities meet H&S, environmental, regulatory and DP World standards.
Develop and maintain RAMS, risk assessments and method statements, ensuring safe delivery of maintenance activities.
Manage equipment suppliers, contractors and vendors to improve reliability, efficiency and service.
Support budget management, repair and maintenance expenditure and small equipment CAPEX.
Lead training, development and apprenticeship activities across the engineering team.
Champion Lean, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Support the safe delivery, installation and commissioning of new and modified equipment.
Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders and trade unions.
