QUALIFICATIONS :
Ability to manage all aspects of a full cycle project, including the coordination of internal and external workgroups and the management of subcontractors/consultants.
Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate project methodology, results, and recommendations with MCP and client staff and other stakeholders with varying technical and clinical backgrounds.
Excellent client management skills. Must be able to present to and meet on a regular basis with the state client staff.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with internal staff and external staff.
Ability to provide formal and informal training sessions and presentations to staff from a variety of backgrounds.
Superior analytical and writing skills, with the ability to present data and findings, both orally and in writing, to interested parties with varying technical backgrounds.
Ability to supervise, coordinate and manage departmental staff.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
Knowledge of managed care plan operations, performance measurement and quality improvement.
Knowledge of NCQA requirements including HEDIS performance measures.
Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously to meet client deliverables.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Knowledge of and commitment to the principles of continuous quality improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in public health, health care administration, research, or a related field required.

Master’s degree in a related discipline, preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in managed care, health care quality assurance/improvement, or health care research required, including at least one (1) year in a project management capacity.
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. The annualized salary range for this position is $90,000.00 – $115,000.00. Actual salary range and /or hourly rate depends on a variety of factors including experience, education, credentials, location, and budget.
