Role Overview
Oversee and manage cost control activities across Capital Motion venues.
Track food, beverage, and operational costs to support profitability, reduce waste, and optimize margins.
Work with finance, procurement, operations, venue, and culinary teams on cost accountability.
Cost Monitoring and Analysis
- Track and analyze food, beverage, and operational costs across all venues.
- Monitor daily consumption reports and identify variances against budgeted costs.
- Conduct regular cost audits and provide actionable insights to management.
Inventory and Stock Control
- Oversee stock counts, reconciliations, and inventory variance reporting.
- Record transfers, wastage, and spoilage accurately.
- Work with procurement and kitchen teams to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
Menu and Recipe Costing
- Review and validate recipe costing for menu items with culinary teams.
- Support menu engineering by analyzing profitability and recommending adjustments.
- Keep costing data updated in POS and inventory systems.
Systems, Compliance, and Reporting
- Maintain cost control systems and databases and support integration with POS, inventory, and accounting platforms.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline cost control processes.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports, support financial audits, and maintain compliance with internal procedures.
Collaboration and Support
- Work with venue managers, chefs, and procurement officers to promote cost awareness and accountability.
- Provide training and support to operational teams on cost control practices.
- Travel between venues and support audits or operational activities when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Hospitality Management.
- 4–6 years of experience in cost control, preferably in hospitality or food and beverage.
- Proficiency in Excel and cost control software such as FMC, Adaco, and Supy or similar.
- Supy experience is advantageous for inventory management, purchasing, stock movements, and cost monitoring.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
Pay
- Pay is AED 5,500–6,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
