Role Overview
The employer is hiring two Assistant Commercial Managers for a major infrastructure programme.
The roles sit within an integrated client team above Tier 1 contractors and offer early-career commercial development.
Role Responsibilities
- Support commercial performance assurance for Tier 1 contractors alongside project managers and commercial leads.
- Administer NEC contracts, manage early warnings, and track compensation events.
- Support change-cost assessment, procurement reviews, subcontractor account validation, and final-account settlement.
- Contribute to contract performance reporting and commercial control across live works packages.
Requirements
- Meaningful NEC3 or NEC4 contract experience is essential.
- A quantity surveying background is required.
- The role suits an early-career commercial professional, including a graduate quantity surveyor seeking a second position.
- Infrastructure experience in highways, rail, utilities, or civils is a strong advantage.
- Building or MEPH experience is also relevant.
