We are seeking a skilled Baker & Cake Decorator to join our team, primarily responsible for creating soft, ready to go cakes for sale on our online platforms and assisting head chef for fondant cakes.

Baking: Prepare soft and delicious cake bases using high quality ingredients, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes.
Filling: Skillfully layer cakes with delicious fillings, incorporating various flavors and textures to enhance taste.
Stacking: Expertly assemble multi tiered cakes, ensuring stability and precision in stacking layers.
Decorating: Creatively decorate cakes according to provided designs, utilizing icing, fondant, edible decorations, and other embellishments to achieve visually appealing results.
Adherence to Design: Pay meticulous attention to detail to replicate given cake designs accurately, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Time Management: Work efficiently within the designated shift timing, managing tasks effectively to meet production targets.
Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control measures throughout the baking and decorating process, ensuring that all cakes meet our standards of taste, appearance, and freshness.
Cleanliness and Safety: Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols in the kitchen, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
Collaboration: Coordinate with team members to fulfill orders and ensure timely delivery of cakes to customers.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques, trends, and customer preferences in cake baking and decorating.

Proven experience as a Baker and Cake Decorator, with a portfolio showcasing cake designs and creations.
Proficiency in baking techniques, cake decoration, and handling various cake decorating tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and precision in cake assembly and decoration.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Creativity and artistic flair in cake design and decoration.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evening shifts including weekends and holidays if required.
