Responsibilities

Develop, deliver and evaluate a broad range of Respiratory Therapy courses.
Evaluate student progress and manage learning-environment resources.
Liaise with industry and educational institutions and participate in industry advisory committees.
Coordinate, manage and control projects within the specified program area.
Maintain course portfolio documents required for accreditation.
Engage in instructional development and improvement plans.
Contribute to professional and community life within and beyond the university.

Education and Experience

A PhD or doctorate in Respiratory Therapy or a respiratory-related health field is required.
Candidates with a doctorate outside Respiratory Therapy must hold a graduate and/or undergraduate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
An unrestricted license, or eligibility for one, in the program's state or country is required.
RRT credentials from NBRC or CSRT are preferred.
Applicants need demonstrated academic experience and Respiratory Therapy practice.
The role requires at least five years of recent full-time-equivalent academic experience and two years of clinical practice experience.
