Role Overview
The College of Architecture, Art and Design at Ajman University is recruiting an Assistant or Associate Professor in Interior Design.
The position starts in Fall 2026-2027 and includes teaching design studios, construction details, computational design, BIM, and supervising graduation and postgraduate projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- PhD in Interior Design or Architecture from a reputable university.
- Terminal master's degree holders with professional experience may be considered at Lecturer rank.
- Teaching record and outstanding research or design and publication record in top journals.
- Experience supervising student projects and thesis papers.
- Collaborative and interdisciplinary research experience is advantageous.
- Excellent record in community service and scholarly activities.
- Design and construction experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver courses in specified interior design discipline areas.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to support student success.
- Manage instructional resources, course outlines, and community networks.
- Conduct research or design and publish outcomes in reputable journals and conferences.
