Faculty Position Overview
The Department of Geosciences in the College of Science at United Arab Emirates University invites applications for a faculty position in Structural Geology.
The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate Geosciences programs through teaching, research, and student advising.
Faculty Responsibilities
- Teach structural geology and tectonics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Teach general geology and field geology courses.
- Advise undergraduate and graduate students and supervise postgraduate students.
- Develop and sustain an internally or externally funded research program.
- Publish research findings in top refereed journals.
- Actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAE University.
Minimum Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. in Structural Geology.
- Demonstrate research accomplishments in structural geology and related research fields.
- Have experience securing research grants.
- Demonstrate effective and innovative teaching.
