Assistant Accountant / Accounts Executive / Finance Executive

Role Description

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile financial transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Prepare invoices and monitor payment status.
• Assist with monthly closing activities and budget tracking.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare basic management reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and follow established accounting procedures.
• Help ensure compliance with relevant financial policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger posting, and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or ERP software, such as Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, or similar tools.
• Ability to manage invoicing, receivables, payables, and expense tracking accurately and promptly.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Good organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced digital environment.
• Understanding of basic financial reporting, budgeting principles, and standard accounting practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior accounting or finance support experience is preferred; digital or marketing-company experience is a plus.
• Comfort working independently remotely with reliable internet and online collaboration tools.
