Role Description
Join the corporate finance team as an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Executive, or Finance Executive.
Own core financial operations, ledger integrity, tax compliance, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
Work with management, procurement, sales, operations, auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners.
Accounting Operations
- Manage full-spectrum accounting and general ledger functions.
- Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions prepared by junior staff.
- Ensure accurate coding, cost-center allocation, and three-way matching of purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany adjustments, journal entries, and balance sheet schedule maintenance.
- Maintain trial balance accuracy for month-end close.
Reporting and Treasury
- Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analyses, cash flow forecasts, and financial summary schedules.
- Analyze revenue and expense trends against budgets and investigate operational variances.
- Manage multi-currency bank reconciliations, cash monitoring, working capital, payment approvals, and foreign exchange exposure.
Tax and Audit
- Compile and submit tax returns, corporate tax estimates, withholding taxes, and statutory reports.
- Lead audit preparation, assemble schedules, draft financial disclosures, resolve audit queries, and maintain complete audit trails.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA, ICAEW, or an equivalent body are highly preferred.
Required Experience
- Experience managing full-spectrum accounting, closing cycles, trial balance reviews, general ledger maintenance, accrual accounting, fixed assets, and intercompany settlements.
- Experience preparing management accounts, balance sheet schedules, cash flow projections, and budget variance analyses.
- Working knowledge of statutory and tax legislation, including SST, VAT, GST, withholding tax, corporate tax, and statutory reporting.
- Experience leading financial audit preparation and liaising with auditors, tax agents, and banking officers.
Systems and Professional Skills
- Advanced experience with accounting software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Xero, QuickBooks, SQL Account, or AutoCount.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills, including financial modeling, lookup functions, pivot tables, nested logic, macros, and dynamic reporting templates.
- Strong communication, integrity, discretion, analytical ability, attention to detail, and resilience under tight deadlines.
