Experience and Qualifications
- One to two years of accounting experience is listed, while freshers may also apply.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and standards is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software is required.
- Attention to detail, numerical and analytical ability, communication, organization, problem-solving, integrity, and confidentiality are important.
Accounting Duties
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting books, ledgers, and organized records.
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements accurately and on time.
- Process supplier invoices and payments and monitor customer payments and outstanding accounts.
- Assist with budgets, forecasts, and performance monitoring against budget.
- Calculate tax returns and support compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Process payroll, including salaries, deductions, and benefits.
- Analyze financial data, trends, and variances to recommend improvements.
- Maintain internal controls and assist with internal and external audits.
- Monitor cash flow and provide financial information for management decisions.
