Overview
Target Trading & Contracting W.L.L is looking for an Assistant Accountant to handle daily sales operations, finalize cash and POS transactions, and provide excellent customer service. The role requires good cash handling skills, basic computer skills, and knowledge of accounting and billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily counter sales operation and finalize cash and point-of-sales (POS) transactions
- Prepare and finalize daily sales and cash reports
- Coordinate with the delivery department to arrange delivery notes and submit to Finance Department
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and ensuring a smooth checkout experience
- Maintain proper records of transactions and ensure accuracy in all billing and documentation
- Issue receipts and reconcile cash/collections against sales records
- Deposit collections and maintain accurate cash records
- Report daily cash position and follow up on any discrepancies
- General accounting as required by the line manager
Key Requirements
- Good cash handling and excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel / system entry)
- Knowledge and experience in accounting and billing
