Asset Protection Representative

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Deter, detect, and apprehend theft and fraud within retail locations.
• Collaborate on provincial or national organized retail crime investigations and with local police services.
• Conduct internal investigations and compile and present evidence for court or arbitration.
• Identify shrink opportunities and participate in store-level audits.
• Coach colleagues on Asset Protection policies and procedures through management meetings and huddles.
• Participate in community events.

Required Qualifications

• Valid provincial security guard license is required.
• Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and powers of arrest is required.
• Working knowledge of CCTV or surveillance systems and Windows-based applications is required.
• Professional, friendly, approachable demeanor, initiative, and integrity are required.

Schedule

• Available to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends in a 40-hour work week.

Compensation

• Hiring pay is $22.00 per hour.
