Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset protection strategies, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks aligned with organizational objectives
- Lead loss prevention, physical security, asset protection, and risk mitigation programs across business operations
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to theft, fraud, vandalism, workplace violence, property damage, and operational losses
- Collaborate with Operations, Facilities, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Information Technology, Compliance, Procurement, and Executive Leadership to strengthen asset protection measures
- Conduct security risk assessments, site inspections, investigations, audits, and incident reviews while recommending corrective actions
- Oversee access control systems, CCTV surveillance, intrusion detection systems, alarm monitoring, visitor management, and other physical security technologies
- Develop and maintain emergency response, crisis management, business continuity, and incident response procedures
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including shrinkage, security incidents, loss prevention effectiveness, investigation outcomes, compliance performance, and operational risks
- Manage security vendors, contract security personnel, equipment providers, and external service partners to ensure high quality service delivery
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, health and safety requirements, internal security policies, and organizational standards
- Prepare security reports, risk assessments, incident analyses, audit findings, and executive presentations for senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through security technology, analytics, workflow optimization, and operational best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, Risk Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, corporate security, risk management, law enforcement, or related roles
- At least 2 years of experience managing security operations, investigations, or asset protection teams preferred
- Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or equivalent are advantageous
- Strong understanding of physical security, loss prevention, fraud prevention, investigations, emergency response, risk management, and compliance
- Experience with access control systems, CCTV platforms, security management software, incident reporting tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and analytics platforms
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, investigation, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills

The Role
