We are seeking an experienced Asset Engineer to join our Asset Management team and help drive safe, sustainable, and efficient asset management outcomes across our electricity distribution and transmission networks. The role is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our Melbourne CBD head office.
In this strategic role, you'll apply your engineering expertise to develop and optimise asset management strategies, risk management plans, and technical standards that support the long-term performance and reliability of our line assets. Working across CitiPower, Powercor, United Energy and Transmission Operations Australia, you'll provide critical insights through engineering analysis, risk modelling, business case development, and stakeholder engagement to ensure our assets are managed responsibly and deliver value to customers and communities.

Degree qualified in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, with professional engineering registration or eligibility to obtain it.
Strong understanding of electricity network assets and asset management principles.
Experience developing asset management strategies and applying risk-based asset management methodologies.
Knowledge of asset risk assessment, reliability engineering, failure investigations and maintenance optimisation techniques.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide practical engineering solutions.
Experience preparing technical reports, business cases, budgets and investment plans with strong commercial awareness.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across diverse teams and audiences.
