The opportunity
Lead asset replacement, renewal and major maintenance projects across the Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness asset portfolio.
Support a high-containment research facility by ensuring critical and compliance-sensitive assets are reliable, safe and fit for purpose.
Work with researchers, internal teams, service providers and regulators with a high level of professional judgement and autonomy.
High-level duties
- Lead asset replacement, renewal and maintenance projects within agreed scope, budget and schedule.
- Plan and prioritise asset renewal and maintenance activities for operational sustainability and lifecycle performance.
- Develop project scopes, procurement documentation and delivery strategies.
- Manage compliance, governance controls, HSE standards, project risks, budgets, schedules and stakeholder engagement.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and service providers and support continuous improvement.
- Participate in the Duty On-call Engineer roster in line with experience.
Essential experience and capability
- Experience leading complex asset programs and projects, including capital, renewal and major maintenance activities.
