Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and components required for daily production
- Assist with the assembly of cheeseboards, dessert items, grazing products, and other menu offerings
- Follow recipes, portion guides, and presentation standards accurately
- Support the baking team with daily production tasks
- Package products carefully and neatly to maintain presentation standards
- Label and organize completed orders accurately
- Conduct final quality checks before products leave the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the production area
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist with stock rotation and monitoring ingredient levels
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a bakery, coffee shop, café, pastry kitchen, or similar food production environment
- Strong understanding of food handling, hygiene, and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to support different areas of production
- Team oriented with a dependable and proactive approach to work
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Organized, punctual, and able to follow instructions consistently
- Flexibility to assist with varying production needs and seasonal demand

About Yellow Block
- Yellow Block is a cheese company built around gathering. We create premium cheeseboards, beautiful grazing tables, and curated cheese experiences.
- This role is a hands on position within our production team, supporting the day to day preparation and assembly of Yellow Block products.
What You'll Do
- Prepare ingredients and components required for daily production.
- Assist with the assembly of cheeseboards, dessert items, grazing products, and other menu offerings.
- Follow recipes, portion guides, and presentation standards accurately.
- Ensure all products are assembled consistently and according to company guidelines.
- Support the team during busy production periods and large orders.
- Assist with baking preparation, including measuring ingredients and preparing equipment.
- Support the baking team with daily production tasks as instructed.
- Help monitor product quality and consistency throughout the preparation process.
- Maintain organized workstations and ensure ingredients are properly stored.
- Package products carefully and neatly to maintain Yellow Block's presentation standards.
- Label and organize completed orders accurately.
- Prepare orders for dispatch and coordinate with the team to ensure timely completion.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a bakery, coffee shop, café, pastry kitchen, or similar food production environment.
- Strong understanding of food handling, hygiene, and kitchen safety practices.

Work Structure
- Full time, on site role based in our Al Quoz 3 production kitchen.
- Rotating schedules may be required based on operational needs and peak periods.
Compensation
- Pay: AED3,000.00 AED3,500.00 per hour (note: likely per month based on context).
