Responsibilities of the role
- Assembling and testing niche temperature sensor components for a high-profile aerospace programme
- Mechanically building parts and components to precise specifications and engineering drawings
- Setting up jigs, fixtures, and equipment for assembly and testing
- Working to manufacturing standards, safety protocols, and production deadlines
Skills required
- Experience in performing manual assembly operations
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler, fitter, or similar position
- Previous experience in an automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing environment
- Experience of Manufacturing Operations within a safety-critical environment
- Review engineering drawings and apply best practices to project standards
