What You Will Do
This is a 3RD shift Opportunity Monday - Friday ( 5 x 8hour shifts) 11:30PM - 7AM
This position is designed to give individuals with little or no machining or assembly experience the skills they need to become a Certified Operator at Pratt & Whitney. Employees selected for this position will participate in 4-8 weeks of the on the job training. Learn to perform routine assembly operations on large sections of current engine designs and a variety of similar assemblies. Learn to work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction to complete tasks. Learn to verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Obtain operator Certification to be able to accept/reject parts. Learn to maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM) Learn to work collaboratively with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel or others to resolve assembly problems and assist in part process development. This position will reference written work instructions for guidance with daily job activities. Work instructions are available in English only.

The salary range for this role is $18.30-$34.40. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
