Assembler II - Wood

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday.

Oc casional weekends may be optional or required

Compensation : $18/hr DOE Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay

As an Assembler – Wood with us, you’ll use your strong teamwork skills, you will safely and efficiently build wood crates using blueprints (cut sheets) and power tools to meet customer specifications for quality and on-time delivery.

You will log in and out of jobs in the Ops Center (Production software planning system) to track jobs and follow production schedules.

You’ll also follow safety and personal protective equipment requirements

• i.e., nail and staple guns, power drills, grinders, and hammers
• Use tape measure to ensure the measurements match the cut sheet up to 1/8th inch
• Safe ladder use required when assembling the tops (caps) of crates
• May need to assemble bases or skids for crates on the ground. This requires use of a 20 pound, 3.5-inch nail gun while crouching and/or kneeling
• Able to read, interpret, find, and document possible cut sheet and/or stenciling errors
• Use of adhesives to apply foam to wood crates and conduct specification checks
• Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures
